Be part of the fun and help us create a safe, family-friendly experience for 500 kids in our community! At Trunk-or-Treat, families will walk from car to car collecting candy, enjoying creative, safe, family-friendly-non-scary themes, and making lasting memories.
By decorating your trunk and handing out store-bought individually wrapped candy, you’ll play a huge role in showing kids and parents the love and joy of God!

 Guidelines for Trunk Hosts: 




  • Family-Friendly Décor – keep it fun and lighthearted (no gore and no scary themes. Think Fun and Festive). Send your creative photo idea of your non-scary trunk to hroehling@vccindy.org by 10/15/26 to finalize registration.




  • Bring Your Own Candy – plan for 500 kids; bring plenty of candy. 




  • Candy Type – store-bought, individually wrapped only.




  • Arrival & Setup




    • Arrive of trunks by 4:00p.m. for parking and check-in.




    • Trunk setup must be complete by 5:15pm




    • Event runs 6:00–8:00 p.m.




    • For safety: no vehicle exit until 8:15 p.m.






  • Parking & Safety – trunks will be parked in back parking lot of Baxter YMCA; Sign up fast! Limited Spaces Going Fast!




  • Weather Plan – in case of rain/inclement weather, trunks become tables inside the South Gym. (We’ll notify participants day-of event in the case of inclement weather.)
